home to the Congenital Heart Institute. We recently celebrated our
one-year anniversary of the new, 33-bed Peds Emergency Department and
Trauma Center. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right person.
We now seek a proven executive leader to successfully oversee our
Pediatric Surgical, Perioperative and Endoscopic services. Our new,
state-of-the-art surgical suites are equipped with three fully
integrated laparoscopic ORs, a dedicated open heart room with a total
of 11 operating suites.
Reporting directly to our COO, the Administrator for Surgical Services
will supervise 10 direct reports and 200 total reports. The specific
areas of responsibility are Pre-Op, OR, PACU, Endoscopy and Pediatric
Outpatient Surgery. Qualifications include an MSN, current FL RN
licensure and six years' successful experience in a key leadership role.

INPATIENT NURSE MANAGER
Full-Time
Lead a team that exemplifies strength, courage and heart at La Rabida Children's Hospital.
We are the only hospital in Chicago dedicated solely to caring for
children with chronic illnesses and disabilities. In this role
you will oversee the delivery of patient care in our 49 bed inpatient
unit. Additionally, you will serve as a clinical resource to
staff in the care of patients and families.
The
qualified candidate has a minimum of a BSN (MSN preferred), current IL
RN licensure, and at least 3 years of clinical nursing experience of
which at least 2 years has been in Pediatrics. Successful experience in
a management/charge role is required. We offer excellent compensation

Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with emphasis in Pediatric
Intensive Care and Pediatrics. Requires at least one year of experience
in Pediatric Care. Must have current RN license in Nevada (or
eligibility) with current BCLS, NRP and PALS Certification.
