Guest Registration
Due to the substantial increases in the cost of food and beverages served by hotels, all non-registrants who desire to attend functions where food and beverages are served, such as the Exhibit Hall, during the Pediatric Nursing Conference must display a "Guest" Badge, which may be purchased for $100 per guest. Guest Badges are non-transferable and may only be purchased by paid attendees who agree to accept responsibility for each guest. Guests may not attend or visit educational sessions, including sponsored food events. Guests must be accompanied by the paid registrant while visiting the Exhibit Hall during the listed open times.

special reception and tour of its
facility on Saturday evening, July 17,
2010, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Participants will also see a
presentation on nursing at The
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
as part of the tour.
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia was founded in 1855 as the nation's first hospital dedicated exclusively to children. Today, CHOP is recognized as one of the world's leading pediatric hospitals and research facilities, and is ranked as the best pediatric hospital in the U.S. by a comprehensive child magazine survey. The nursing program is nationally recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center with Magnet® Status for Nursing Excellence - the highest national recognition in nursing.
Beginning at 5:30 p.m., shuttle buses will transport participants from the Philadelphia Marriott Hotel to the hospital. If you are interested in taking part in this special tour, please check the box on the registration form in this brochure for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Tour. Call for Poster Abstracts
Submit your clinical or research poster abstracts for Pediatric Nursing's 26th Annual Conference today! One exhibit session in the conference will include a poster session to provide participants with a series of clinical presentations as part of the overall program.
Clinical Poster Abstracts
Clinical poster abstracts should describe creative, practice-based projects related to pediatric
nursing. The following content areas should be addressed: (a) purpose and/or objectives
of the project, (b) description of the project, and (c) conclusions/implications for
nursing practice.
Abstracts will be selected according to the following criteria: (a) uniqueness, (b) organization, (c) significance to quality patient care, or (d) relevance to pediatric or patient/staff education.

Research Poster Abstracts
Research poster abstracts should summarize completed studies with sufficient detail to
identify the clinical problem, the sample/population, methodology, and expected or
known results. Posters should be data-based.

Submission Information
The first page of your abstract should include all presenter(s)' contact information and
specify the abstract as either a clinical or a research poster. The second page should contain
a title and the content of your abstract as a blind copy without name(s) or contact
information. The third page should contain the presenter(s)' name(s), the title of the
abstract, and content of your abstract.
